Our Story
How Ella Rises began and where we're going
Ella Rises was founded with a simple yet powerful vision: to create spaces where young Latinas can see themselves as scholars, artists, and leaders. Through culturally rooted programming, we help participants connect with their heritage while exploring pathways to higher education and meaningful careers.
Our programs bring together arts, music, and STEAM education to foster creativity, critical thinking, and confidence. We believe that when young women are given the tools and encouragement to rise, they transform not only their own lives but their entire communities.
Today, we serve over 150 girls each year through workshops, mentoring programs, and cultural celebrations. Our work is made possible by dedicated volunteers, generous donors, and community partners who share our commitment to equity and opportunity.
